Four Legends Celebrated

We had an amazing turnout for the recent Orchard of Legends plantings - 4 trees planted for 4 local legends. The produce from these trees is for people to help themselves.

We have more legends to celebrate, before planting season ends - and we'll do it all again next year! Keep the dedications coming in.

Good times with Geraldine Preschool

What a great way to spend the afternoon! With a group of keen young gardeners from Geraldine Preschool.

We had a lovely time talking about sunshine, water and how to grow yummy strawberries at the Cox St gardens. We accepted a big bunch of strawberry plants the children had grown for us all to share!

Thanks to Naomi and the fantastic team at Geraldine Preschool - good times.

Where are all the fruit and nut trees?

If you know the location of any fruit and nut trees planted in public spaces - let us know the location and type of tree, and we'll add them to our online Edible Trail. Keep your eyes peeled!

Geraldine Keas plant out for the community

Kea Leader Rebecca Tilsley
We've really enjoyed being involved with the Geraldine Boy Scouts club. Their Keas took home seedlings thanks to Kea Leader Rebecca Tilsley, cared for them at home then came along and planted them out at our Cox St site - for the community to share and enjoy. All of this went towards their 'Community Badge'.

Thanks very much Rebecca Tilsley! We look forward to taking part in more incredibly edible initiatives with the Keas.
